The enterprising team at the Castlemaine Fringe Festival have announced its latest venture to raise funds for next year’s festival. The night of glitz and dancing, fire sculptures, mulled wine and fun is a collaboration with Castlemaine Clay at the local arts precinct Lot 19 on Saturday 3 August. A kiln has been specially built for the event with works revealed later in an exhibition.
Supporters of the festival have been asked to “bring out their bling” for a fun night of raising funds and building excitement for the Fringe platform for the talented artists of the community. The festival is independent, with no ongoing funds and is a role model of creative collaboration and engagement with the local community. It’s “Hats Off” to the team at the Castlemaine Fringe for making art happen.
